2023 1 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coin (BU)

The Austrian Philharmonic bullion series is, collectively, one of the best-selling collections in the world. From the debut of the gold coins in 1989 to the latest expansion into platinum in 2016, the series stands among the top coins in the world for its quality, purity, and popularity. Today, 2023 1 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins are available to you online at Inex Mint.

Coin Highlights:

  • Available to you in plastic flips, protective tubes of 10 coins, or mint-sealed boxes of 100 coins!
  • 35th coin in the Austrian Gold Philharmonic Series!
  • Contains 1 Troy oz of .9999 pure gold in BU condition.
  • The face value of 100 Euros is fully backed by the Austrian government.
  • On the obverse of the coin is the Great Pipe Organ.
  • The reverse features a cluster of musical instruments.

When the Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coin was introduced in 1989, the Austrian Mint offered two weights to investors. These options include a standard 1 oz gold coin, a customary move compared to other gold collections. However, the Austrian Mint made the unique decision of issuing the 1/4 oz gold coin as the only other weight available at that point.

All of these 2023 1 oz Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins are available to purchase in Brilliant Uncirculated condition. These coins are packaged individually or in bulk, with individual coins offered in plastic flips. Multiples will arrive in protective tubes of 10 coins or in boxes of 100 coins containing a total of 10 separate tubes.

On the obverse of 2023 Austrian Gold Philharmonic Coins is a depiction of the Great Pipe Organ. This fixture of the Musikverein, the concert hall where the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra performs, is the third version of a massive pipe organ to feature within the building. The Musikverein was completed in the 1870s.

The reverse sides of the 2023 1 oz Gold Philharmonic come with a depiction of musical instruments. This cluster of eight instruments includes a cello front and center. On either side, there are two violins. In the background, you will find a bassoon, a harp, and a horn.
